Joe Biden Parapraxes, Social-Judicial Warriors, and Neverending Affirmative Action: Will African-Americans Ever Be Freed From The Democrats’ Perennial Feelings Of Superiority?

Sarah Watching Will African Americans Ever Be Freed From Democrats Feelings Of Superiority

[Point of website privilege: SW is prone to hypocrisy overload, therefore does not include the “ic” when writing Democrat Party.]

Joe Biden should seriously consider conceding the Democrat Party presidential nomination for 2020. The numerous parapraxes, i.e. Freudian slips, represent unwitting disclosures of the former Veep’s inherent racism.

The 22 other presidential hopelesses have done a much better job of masking their feelings of superiority, but make no mistake, it is there. And yes, even with Marianne. The pandering is so embarrassing. Catchwords, the phrase “I’m open to discussing reparations,” even eating fried chicken with Irreverent Al. (Seriously? How many gay men do you know that eat fried chicken without a fork and knife?)

Now that I think of it, all of these candidates should seriously consider conceding the Democrat Party presidential nomination for 2020.

Democrat Blue Blood Feelings of Superiority

The Democrats/Leftists/Socialists, in general, as well as their less than stellar presidential nominees’, openly demonstrate Feelings of Superiority that are and have been rooted deep within their party since its institution. “Feelings of superiority” as opposed to “Superiority Complex.” A superiority complex is used to mask an inferiority complex. But feelings of superiority go much deeper.

In “Feelings Of Superiority And Neurosis” author Michael Schreiner, describes the condition as follows:

Certain people think they know more than they do in areas where they have little experience or training, yet it’s almost impossible, like hitting your head against a wall, to dispossess them of their wildly inaccurate or hopelessly basic points of view. For this personality type the culprit is the idealized self-image, a falsified perception of Self that is neurotic in character. An idealized self-image usually includes secret beliefs of being all-powerful and omnipotent, of being almost godlike. This means feeling superior to all the mere mortals, obviously having more knowledge and abilities than them.

Sound familiar?

Sleepy Joe’s Paraphraxes, Social-Judicial Activists, And Neverending Affirmative Action

Following are three examples of the Democrat Party’s abiding feelings of superiority over blacks. Based on the description above, it is safe to say that these elitist feelings are directed towards all minorities, even majorities who think differently. However, in the case of the Democrats/Socialists/Leftists/Unlikeable People, this outrageous tendency is historically (KKK in the 1870-1970’s Democrat-controlled South) and contemporarily directed at blacks.

If Feelings of Superiority are so obviously manifest in a Democrat presidential nominee (and former veep), Democrat judges in Federal District Courts, and liberal universities, places supposed to be devoid of the ignorance that feeds racism, where are they not in the Democrat Party?

Thus, SW’s openly pondered question—” Will African-Americans Ever Be Freed From The Democrat Party’s Perennial Feelings Of Superiority?” Let’s avoid hitting our head against the wall and just accept the facts about this vile group of people. If this condition is so obviously manifest in a Democrat presidential nominee (and former veep), Democrat judges in Federal District Courts, and liberal universities, places supposed to be devoid of the ignorance that feeds racism, where is it not in the Democrat Party?

The Parapraxes, i.e. Freudian Slips, Of Joe Biden

No, no, Sleepy Joe isn’t wearing an orthodontic appliance on those new veneers. But he is certainly displaying his unconscious prejudice.

Campaigning on Thursday, 08/08/2019, Joe Biden gaffed this when talking about the education system:

“We should challenge these students, we should challenge students in these schools to have advanced placement programs in these schools. We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor you cannot do it, poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids.” – Democrat Joe Biden at a campaign rally

The prejudice is clear—in every phrase. “These students,” “these schools” as if they are quarantined with some disease. Joe should know that it is not up to the students in these schools to have advanced placement programs. It’s up to the school administrators who are unfortunately inundated with Democrats and leftists much to the demise of the students’ education. (Oh don’t get me started on how Democrats have absolutely ruined the educational systems in America’s large cities.)

In 2007, Biden made two unbelievable blunders.

In answer to a question about obama, Biden matter-of-factly stated:

“You got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Ouch. Really? How many people do you know that think of African-Americans as inarticulate, dumb, dirty, and not nice-looking? No one! No one thinks like this except those who think they are superior to other people. And no one could state it so artfully except a possessor of feelings of superiority.

Another 2007 Biden parapraxis revealed its ugly head in an interview with the Washington Post. Of course, they probably laughed together after editing it out. In context, Biden was trying to explain why some schools do better than other schools by comparing the schools in Washington D.C. with the schools in Iowa:

“There’s less than 1 percent of the population of Iowa that is African-American. There is probably less than 4 or 5 percent that are minorities. What is in Washington? So look, it goes back to what you start off with, what you’re dealing with.”

The candor, right? This is even more outrageous when considering that Washington D.C. schools, as well as the entire town’s government, is run by—you guessed it—Democrats!

Dems just don’t get it. Color doesn’t matter! Educational systems that prioritize the needs of students over the pockets of administrators is what matters.

Social-Judicial Warriors Go To Washington—Missouri v. Jenkins, 1995

Judicial activists are reprehensible enough. But the social-judicial warrior variety is hideously derelict in his/her duties.

Kansas City, Missouri has been under Democrat Rule since 1940(!) except for a brief Republican stint from 1979-1991. During the Missouri v. Jenkins public schools faux outrage, the city was run by Democrats, of course. (And Democrat school administrators love money for themselves!)

The Kansas City, Missouri, School District (KCMSD) sued the State of Missouri to 1) fund salary increases for all teachers and administration within the KCMSD, 2) continue to fund remedial “quality education” programs because student achievement levels were still “at or below national norms at many grade levels.”

The Eighth Circuit Court rejected Missouri’s appeal that salary increases exceeded the district court’s authority. Instead the Court of Appeals said that the increases were designed to eliminate the state-imposed segregation by improving the “desegregative attractiveness” of the district and by reversing “white flight” to the suburbs. (God save our universities and law schools.)

The Supreme Court reversed the decision of the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals. Chief Justice William Rehnquist, in the conclusion of the majority opinion, reminded the Appeals Court that:

The District Court also should consider that many goals of its quality education plan already have been attained: the KCMSD now is equipped with “facilities and opportunities not available anywhere else in the country.” App. to Pet. for Cert. A-115. KCMSD schools received an AAA rating eight years ago, and the present remedial programs have been in place for seven years…. Minority students in kindergarten through grade 7 in the KCMSD always have attended AAA rated schools; minority students in the KCMSD that previously attended schools rated below AAA have since received remedial education programs for a period of up to seven years.

Okay. Okay. But what about the feelings of superiority.

Sarah Watching Clarence Thomas Quote Nice Way To Say Judicial Activist National Injunction
Justice is nothing but a plaything for Democrat appointed judges, the hussein ones are especially corrupt.

Chief Justice Rehnquist’s majority opinion makes good legal reading. But it is the concurring opinion of Justice Clarence Thomas, in his usual calm and cool manner, that gets to the heart of the matter. Here are some excerpts for your reading pleasure:

It never ceases to amaze me that the courts are so willing to assume that anything that is predominantly black must be inferior. Instead of focusing on remedying the harm done to those black school children injured by segregation, the District Court here sought to convert the Kansas City, Missouri, School District (KCMSD) into a “magnet district” that would reverse the “white flight” caused by desegregation. In this respect, I join the Court’s decision concerning the two remedial issues presented for review. I write separately, however, to add a few thoughts with respect to the overall course of this litigation. In order to evaluate the scope of the remedy, we must understand the scope of the constitutional violation and the nature of the remedial powers of the federal courts.

Without a basis in any real finding of intentional government action, the District Court’s imposition of liability upon the State of Missouri improperly rests upon a theory that racial imbalances are unconstitutional. That is, the court has “indulged the presumption, often irrebuttable in practice, that a presently observed [racial] imbalance has been proximately caused by intentional state action during the prior de jure era.” United States v. Fordice, 505 U.S., at ___ (THOMAS, J., concurring) (slip op., at 2) (citing Dayton Bd. of Ed. v. Brinkman, 443 U.S. 526, 537 (1979), and Keyes v. School Dist. No. 1, 413 U.S., at 211 ). In effect, the court found that racial imbalances constituted an ongoing constitutional violation that continued to inflict harm on black students. This position appears to rest upon the idea that any school that is black is inferior, and that blacks cannot succeed without the benefit of the company of whites.

The District Court’s willingness to adopt such stereotypes stemmed from a misreading of our earliest school desegregation case. In Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954) (Brown I)…

Thus, the District Court seemed to believe that black students in the KCMSD would continue to receive an “inferior education” despite the end of de jure segregation, as long as de facto segregation persisted. As the District Court later concluded, compensatory educational programs were necessary “as a means of remedying many of the educational problems which go hand in hand with racially isolated minority student populations.” 639 F. Supp., at 25. Such assumptions and any social science research upon which they rely certainly cannot form the basis upon which we decide matters of constitutional principle.

It is clear that the District Court misunderstood the meaning of Brown I. Brown I did not say that “racially isolated” schools were inherently inferior; the harm that it identified was tied purely to de jure segregation, not de facto segregation. Indeed, Brown I itself did not need to rely upon any psychological or social-science research in order to announce the simple, yet fundamental truth that the Government cannot discriminate among its citizens on the basis of race. …At the heart of this interpretation of the Equal Protection Clause lies the principle that the Government must treat citizens as individuals, and not as members of racial, ethnic or religious groups…

Federal courts should not lightly assume that States have caused “racial isolation” in 1984 by maintaining a segregated school system in 1954. We must forever put aside the notion that simply because a school district today is black, it must be educationally inferior.

Ouch. Now you see why Democrats don’t like Justice Thomas, a Republican who does not belong to the establishment, and moreover, who speaks the truth.

As in all his SCOTUS writings, Justice Thomas (and SW is a huge fan) cuts to the heart of the matter. And the heart of the matter is the Democrat Party’s, that is the individuals comprising the party, feelings of superiority toward African-Americans. Even Democrat African-Americans to other African-Americans.

Sarah Watching Clarence Thomas Quote Missouri v Jenkins 1954 Segregation Did Not Cause 1994 Racial Isolation

Neverending Affirmative Action

Affirmative Action had its place in history. Just as certain programs were put in place to serve as a transition period after desegregation, so affirmative action was intended to be transitional. But don’t dare tell a Democrat, not if you want to avoid being doxxed on Twitter that is.

Democrats’ feelings of superiority really show up here. Inherent in their insistence on endless affirmative action, is the notion that blacks can’t make it without their help. They can’t make the grade, pass the test, outshine other applicants, be the most qualified for the job, be the best, develop their gifts, etc. etc., so the Democrats MUST help them by what author, professor, and Hoover Institute scholar Thomas Sowell calls “reverse discrimination.”

Policies of treating members of particular groups less favorably than similar members of other groups are usually called “discrimination” when practiced by the group with dominant political power and “reverse discrimination” or “affirmative action” when practiced against members of the group with dominant political power. (“The Economics of Discrimination” in The Thomas Sowell Reader)

And one of the greatest tragedies of affirmative action, the lack of self-development.

What saved the [mid-nineteenth century] Japanese was that they recognized their own backwardness—and worked for generations to overcome it. They did not have cultural relativists to tell them that all cultures are equally valid or political activists to tell them that their troubles were all somebody else’s fault. Nor were there guilt-ridden outsiders offering them largess.

Affirmative action has been one of the great distractions from the real task of self-development. When it and the mindset that it represents passes from the scene, poorer minorities can become the biggest beneficiaries, if their attention and efforts turn toward improving themselves. Unfortunately, a whole industry of civil rights activists, politicians and miscellaneous hustlers has every vested interest in promoting victimhood, resentment and paranoia instead. (“Assumption Behind Affirmative Action” in The Thomas Sowell Reader)

Dr. Sowell also cites these facts:

  • The proportion of the black population going to college doubled in the two decades preceding the civil rights revolution of the 1960s.
  • (oft cited fact) The proportion of blacks in professional and other high-level occupations rose substantially in the years following the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
  • (ignored fact) The proportion of Blacks in such occupations rose even more substantially in the years preceding the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
  • In lower socioeconomic levels of the American black population—
    • Black families living in poverty fell from 87 percent in 1940 to 47 percent in 1960—all before the civil rights legislation, much less the affirmative action policies of the 1970’s.
    • Between 1960 and 1970 the poverty rate among black families dropped and additional 17 percent.
    • After the 1970’s, the decade of affirmative action, the poverty rate among blacks fell 1%.

This striking difference between the political myth and the economic reality has many implications. Among them is that what might otherwise be seen as a remarkable achievement by black Americans is instead seen as an example of government beneficence and largess—and a reason why affirmative action is an absolute necessity for black advancement. (“Affirmative Action Around The World: Trends” in The Thomas Sowell Reader).

Much could be said about this subject. Suffice it to say that affirmative action has many dire consequences from 1) abuse (such as Elizabeth Warren claiming to be of Indian ancestry in order to get a teaching job at Harvard, and she is only one of many abusers), to the 2) core disservice to blacks, and 3) race relations in general. It has served its time, but the Democrats will not let go. You know why.

“Feelings of Superiority” Aren’t Enough to Win An Election

Democrats thrive on a large underclass to vote them into office, that is, into positions of power. This underclass has historically been comprised of a large, poverty-ridden, black voting base. Some writers call America’s large, Democrat-controlled strongholds the “new plantations.” The recent revelation of Baltimore’s utter deterioration is a prime example of the others—Detroit, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, etc. etc.

…the Trump economy booming and looming large…

However, with the Trump economy booming and looming large, more and more people in the U.S. are enjoying jobs, increased wages, lower taxes, and all-around consumer confidence. The President’s economic policies are colorblind. Many Democrat-supporting blacks are quickly becoming Trump supporters.

So what does the Democrat Party do about their dwindling underclass?

  • Try to increase jobs in areas populated by black families living in poverty?
  • No.
  • Try to create programs that will eventually end affirmative action?
  • No.
  • Develop programs to clean up the large cities that Democrats have abandoned?
  • No.
  • Build shelters for the homeless and drug addicts in California, an almost pure Democrat state?
  • No.

Well what does the Democrat Party do?

Import more voters! Specifically poverty level voters.

They simply supplement any black voters they have lost with illegal aliens. They make promises of jobs and welfare and voila! Before you know it, imported voters are living in run-down houses, walking feces-covered streets, steering their kids away from used needles on the playground, doing the work of a slave, kids in horrible schools—all for the power-hungry reprobates known as the Democrat Party.

…But Aren’t They Enough To Wake People Up To The Truth?

Feelings of superiority, you see, leave little room to truly care about another’s well-being. Human beings created in the image of God (!) are nothing but warm voting bodies to the Democrat Party. Democrats lie and pretend to care, but the reality is they could care less about people outside their snotty-nosed social circles. They could absolutely care less.

In that regard, Democrats/Socialists/Leftists/Etc. are essentially sociopaths, or at least real close. They callously take people’s lives, though some do stop short of murder. But try telling that to 1000’s of Chicago moms.
